Shelley Kilbride, Program Manager from the Municipal Capacity Development Program will be facilitating the Grants and Funds workshop at the Swift Current Public Library, (411 Herbert Street East, Swift Current) on Thursday, February 12 from 9 am to 12 pm. The presentation is followed by a working session from 12 to 2 pm.
The workshop is primarily based on the needs of the participants with a practical approach. The workshop can be tailor made to include writing effective proposals, project management and administration skills, identifying grants and their deadlines, and a networking support for people interested in grants or currently working with grants. A list of sources of grants will be prepared by the library.
Information about a particular program or project in the area that is in need of financial assistance will be requested prior to the working session. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
